Wiki’s Wine Dive & Grill Announces Closure Following Owner’s Retirement

Bakersfield, CA – After 12 years of serving as one of Bakersfield’s liveliest dining and social destinations, Wiki’s Wine Dive & Grill will soon be closing its doors. Owners Mike Earhart and Rick Peace have announced the decision following Mike’s well-earned retirement.

“The journey we’ve had at Wiki’s has been nothing short of incredible,” said Earhart. “From our amazing team to the wonderful guests who have walked through our doors, we are beyond grateful for the support and loyalty of this community.”

Since opening in 2013, Wiki’s Wine Dive & Grill has been a staple in the Grand Island retail center, offering an upscale yet inviting atmosphere where guests have enjoyed an extensive selection of fine wines, craft cocktails, great food, and live music. Earhart and Peace extend their deep appreciation to Bolthouse Properties for providing a fantastic home for their restaurant and for their continued partnership throughout the years.

The final closing date will be Sunday, March 2, 2025. The Wiki’s team invites the community to stop by, raise a glass, and celebrate the many years of memories made at the restaurant. Until then, guests can continue to enjoy the signature flavors, warm hospitality, and vibrant atmosphere that have defined Wiki’s since its inception.

“We can’t thank our Bakersfield community enough with all your support through the years, and please keep making Bakersfield Strong by using my motto, “Keep it Local”, and to continue to support locally owned establishments!” added Peace. “We encourage everyone to come by, enjoy their favorite dishes and drinks, and help us make the final days at Wiki’s truly special, and to celebrate Mike’s retirement!”
